Two-page Week, Part 1

 •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Welcome to two-page week! We've got another week full of fun and creative layouts to share and on Friday another round of the Jillibean Soup product challenge. Today, the layouts from Christina, Jill, and Mireille show just how easy it is to follow the sketch while also adding in your own touches.

Two-Page Sketch #8

You can download and print this sketch by clicking on the two-page sketches link found under the "printable sketches" tab on the right sidebar.

"Sweet Puppy Love" by Christina Hoffman
Supply List - Cardstock: Bazzill; Pattern paper: Pebbles; Alphabet: Doodlebug Design, Jillibean Soup, and Kaiser Craft; Floss: DMC; Jewels: Kaiser Craft; Tools: Cricut for the puppy, the dog bowl, the dog bone, and the dog house.

Variation 1 - This first noticeable change was to the photo's. I used a 5 x 7 photo in place of the 6 x 4. I also chose not to use the 3 x 3 photo that was supposed to go next to the 6 x 4. I wanted to use that space for embellishments.

Variation 2 - Instead of decorative strips (circles) I opted to use a solid brown piece above and below the striped piece. The brown strips are 1/4 inch each and the mutli-colored strip is 1/2 inch.

"Sledding 'Mach 9' Style" by Jill Sarginson
Supply List - Cardstock: Bazzill; Pattern paper: Echo Park: Wintertime; Alphabet: Pink Paislee; Floss: DMC; Tools: Creative Memories circle punch, Creative Memories circle cutter, decorative edge ruler, Fiskars scallop sentiment border punch, Bazzill In Stitch'z circle template; Ink: Versamark, Pen: Zig writer; Embellishments: Echo Park Wintertime paper, unknown

I pretty much kept to the sketch for this layout. The circle with the scallop edges was made with a circle punch - I punched several circles out and then glued them under the edge of the circle. I then used the circle template to punch holes for the stitching. The snowman was cut out of the pattern paper and mounted with pop dots.

Story: Love these pictures of Noah playing with Scoop. He has a few Bob the Builder car's but scoop really is his favorite.

This looks like a fun sketch. The first layout is so sweet, loving the puppy products. The second one is cool, love the colors. The last one is sweet because my big boy loved scoop also when he was little. Miss those days. Great job ladies.

Christina: I love your puppy layout, it's super cute. I love the die cuts you added.

Jill: Lovin' the black & white photos and the colors. And scalloped circle is awesome.

Mireille: Great job on your layout, my son also has that toy. Although he was never into Bob the builder, he always played with it.
