Card Sketch #11

You can download and print this sketch by clicking on the card sketches link found under the "printable sketches" tab on the right sidebar.

"Every Moment" card by Melissa Bell
Supply List - Patterned Paper: My Mind's Eye; Cardstock Stickers: My Mind's Eye; Ink: ColorBox Chalk Ink and Inkadinkado; Pearls: Queen & Co.; Floss: DMC; Other: White Cardstock

When I first saw this sketch butterflies came to mind. I LOVE butterflies. :) I originally was going to use my punches but when I saw these cardstock stickers by My Mind's Eye I knew that I wanted to use them on this card. Plus it was a good excuse to buy some new goodies.

I stayed pretty true to this sketch. I followed the measurements pretty closely since I just loved how it looked! My main variation is that I used butterflies instead of hearts. I am definitely going to have to use this sketch again. There are so many possibilities!

"Merry Xmas" card by Jill Sarginson
Supplies Used - Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Patterned Paper: The Robin's Nest; Tools: Creative Memories corner rounder; Ink: Vibrance: Letters: Jenni Bowlin; Pen: Zig Writer; Adhesives: Scrapbook Adhesives foam dots

I completely stuck to the sketch here. To make the embellishments pop, I pop-dotted them. I inked all the papers so there was some contrast between all the coordinating papers.

• I followed the directions of the sketch.
• I used dotted paper instead of the striped paper and punched the borders.
• I punched the hearts with a Martha Stewart punch.
• I added faux stitching to the squares.

these are all sweet. like that they were all different from the hearts and came out just as cute.
