Add-on Week, Part 3

Add-on Sketch #13

You can download and print this sketch by clicking on the add-on sketches link found under the "printable sketches" tab on the right sidebar.

“Enjoy and Destroy” by Andrea Friebus
Supply list - Cardstock: American Crafts, Bazzill Basics; Patterned paper: Basic Grey, Bo Bunny; Gems: KI Memories; die cut machine: Making Memories Slice; number stickers: Jenni Bowlin Studios; Ink: Clearsnap; brads, metal rim tag: Making Memories; other: button, felt, chipboard, photo turn

Variation #1 - I made my snowman larger than the sketch but kept the proportions the same.

Variation #2 - For texture, I made the snowman out of felt and used a glittery chipboard flourish for the scarf.

Variation #3 - I removed the paper from a metal rimmed tag and cut the metal in half to create the smile. I also left off the nose because he looked way cuter without one!

Variation #4 - I only used one button rather than the three in the sketch because I was trying to make it look like the snowman’s bellybutton in the photos.

"Drew's All By Myself Snowman" by Allison Davis
Supplies - Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned paper: Fancy Pants; Felt snowman border: Queen & Co.; Foam alphabet: American Crafts; Corrugated alphabet: Jillibean Soup; Word stickers: Making Memories; Snowflake punch: Martha Stewart; Sequin snowflakes: Doodlebug; Baker's twine: The Twinery; Memory Thread: DMC; Brads: Doodlebug; Glitter accent: Stickles

Variation #1 - I made my snowman slightly smaller to fit how I wanted to use on my page.

Variation #2 - I decided to use felt instead of cardstock for the body.

I also added some hand stitching around the circles of felt.

Variation #3 - I used three pieces of baker's twine tied together for the scarf.

Variation #4 - I added some snowflake sequins to the hat.

Andrea - I love your title. It is so true.....I have 2 boys that used to do that all the time. They drove their sister crazy. Your colour combo is fabulous and that felt snowman is adorable.

Allison - Your photography makes me so jealous. Drew's snowman looks just like the one your created (I guess I mean that the other way around). Another great page.
