Card Sketch #15

You can download and print this sketch by clicking on the card sketches link found under the "printable sketches" tab on the right sidebar.

"Wish Big" by Cherie Nymeyer
Supply List - Cardstock: Stampin' Up; Patterned Paper: Echo Park; Stamp: La La Land Crafts and Stampin' Up; Markers: Copic; Ink: Stampin' Up; Jewels: Kaiser Craft; Punch: Fiskars; Pen: American Crafts

Variation #1 - Instead of embellishments hanging from the top of the design, I hand drew a burst with white pen and put jewels at each point.

Variation #2 - I put my greeting smaller and off to the side instead of across the whole card.

Variation #3 - I added a stamped image to the left side instead of hanging snowflakes across the whole card.

Variation #4 - To complete the card, I added a hand drawn border along the top and bottom of the card.

"Brrr" by Carolyn Wolff
Supply List - Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned Paper: Echo Park; Die-cut SVG Files: Kerri Bradford Studio; Metal Snowflakes: Darcie; Ink: Ranger Distress Ink; Floss: DMC; Clear Gems: Zva Creative; Bakers Twine: Jillibean Soup

Variation #1 – I used this card sketch to create a two-page layout. I used the hanging snowflakes shown in the sketch as a focal point on my page. I layered some printable embellishments and added some clear gems to the center of each one.

Variation #2 – I used the borders shown on the top and bottom of the card sketch and implemented them on my layout.

Variation #3 – I added the snowman and the mittens using cutting files for my Cricut machine.

Variation #4 – I placed my ‘message’ to the left of the hanging snowflakes instead of overlapping it as it was shown in the sketch.
