Card Week, Part 4

•••••••••••••••••
Card Sketch #17

You can download and print this sketch by clicking on the card sketches link found under the "printable sketches" tab on the right sidebar.

"You Are My Sunshine" by Suzanna Lee
Supply List - Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Patterned paper and stickers: Echo Park; Button: American Crafts; Punch: Martha Stewart; Ink: Tim Holtz; Twine: We R Memory Keepers

Variation 1: Not a surprise, I made a layout of the card sketch.

Variation 2: Because I chose to use a picture instead of the sentiment square, the title and journaling had to go elsewhere. The picture is darker than all the other elements and didn't need a background.

Variation 3: The background corners are rounded rather than the picture, or, as the sketch shows, the sentiment square.

"Little Boys Under Construction" by Lynette Jacobs
Supply list - Cardstock: Bazzill Dots; Printed papers: Prima Reflections; Flowers: Prima; Trim and bling: Prima; Letter stickers: Paper Trunk, Pink Paisley and Echo Park; Butterfly rubons: Prima; Word rubon: Kaisercraft; Border punch: Upikit; Butterfly punch: Martha Stewart.

Variation #1: I converted the sketch to suit a layout.

Variation #2: I left the striped paper off and punched the two narrow strips of paper.

Variation #3: I substituted the block for the sentiment with the photo.

Variation #4: I added the title and dressed the layout with embellishments.

"A Delish Dish" by Ashley Horton
Supplies - Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned Paper and Letter Stickers: Simple Stories; Buttons: Basic Grey; Brads: The Paper Studio; Acrylic Stamps: Close to My Heart; Ink Pad: Stampin' Up; Paper Crimper: Fiskars; Punch: Marvy; Pen: Sharpie; Other: Corner Rounder

Variation #1 - I used the Card Sketch to create a 12x12 Layout.

Variation #2 - I printed a 5x5 photo and rounded the corners and added a black mat and moved it up and more to the right-hand side of the page.

Variation #3 - I added a second photo, by replacing the large flower on the sketch.

Variation #4 - I moved my title to the outside and left, of the location on the sketch.

Variation #5 - I incorporated journaling into the sketch, by adding it above my photo.
