“Fun with Sandy” by Sue Althouse
Supplies - Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned Paper: Crate Paper (Story Teller, Pretty Party), Sassafras; Alphabet: American Crafts, Cosmo Cricket; Stamps: Hero Arts for Studio Calico, Technique Tuesday; Inks, Mists: Hero Arts, Jenni Bowlin, Creative Memories Black Chalking Ink; Tools: Fiskars Circle Punch and Star Punches, Nestabilities Small Pinking Circles; Ribbon/Twine: DMC black floss; Sketch: Sketches for Scrapbooking, One-page Sketches, Vol. 1

This add-on sketch and my stamping supplies came together to create the perfect custom embellishment for this page about my dear friend. I used Sketches for Scrapbooking One-Page Sketches, Vol. 1 for my layout design.

Variation #1 - Used a pinking border instead of a scallop.

Variation #2 - Made the embellishment slightly larger.

Variation #3 - Omitted one of the strips.
