Card Sketch #8

You can download and print this sketch by clicking on the card sketches link found under the "printable sketches" tab on the right sidebar.

"Hi" card by Melissa Elsner
Supplies - Paper: Basic Grey; Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper; Flowers, bling: Kaisercraft; Embossing Pen and Powder: Stampin' Up!; Pen: Uniball Signo; Corner punch: EK Success

Variation #1: I stuck true to the sketch. Using the measurements and such made it so easy to create this card and the Basic Grey papers worked perfectly.

Variation #2: For the middle rectangle, I did use some pop dots to create dimension and to also bring attention to the sentiment.

Variation #3: For the stitching I did some faux stitching since I'm without a machine. I love the way it looks and brings the design together so I wanted to keep that stitched look.

Variation #4: The sentiment was created by writing the word 'Hi' with my embossing pen and heat embossing with white powder. I'm not always a fan of my handwriting but I'm happy it turned out this way.

"Hello There" card by Allison Davis
Supplies - Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned paper: American Crafts; Flowers: American Crafts and Prima; Metal embellishment: American Crafts

I pretty much followed the sketch exactly. The small change I made was only using the 1/2" striped strip and not the 1/4" strip on top with stitching.
