Instead of fireworks, like the sketch, I made some flowers. To make the flowers, I punched a larger circle and a smaller circle out of different papers (some scalloped, some just plain circles). Then I cut towards the middle (but not all the way to the middle) of the circle all the way around and layered the smaller circle on top of the larger one. I stitched a little "x" in the center and added a stitched stem, out of twine, on the page to finish them out.

I love this lil dandilion looking sketch. What a great way to use up an excess of embellies. lOve this idea so much.
Mireille, you always have such beautiful layouts and I think this one is one of my favorites! You always have a way with details that really make your layouts stand out!
Christy, I absolutely adore the color combo on your layout. Like love it so much I want to decorate a room in our house those colors. Your layouts always represent a wonderfully unique approach to the sketches! :)
