"Jackson's Smile" by Allison Davis
Supplies - Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned paper: October Afternoon, Fancy Pants and My Mind's Eye; Die cut circle (smile): My Mind's Eye; Alphabets: American Crafts and Pink Paislee; Word stickers: Making Memories and Scenic Route
Card sketches are great for creating layouts too. While the sketch might not end up being the full design of the layout they can be a great base or starting point to build the layout around.
I took the idea of the layered circles on the sketch and used a larger version for my background. The way I varied from the sketch a little is I used the scallop edged circle as my largest. I actually used the backside of a die cut patterned paper for that piece. The front of it didn't have the color combo I was looking for but I loved the base color. Since the back was solid and the bar code would be covered by the other circles it ended up working.
I decided to go full force with the circles to match the background and used several sizes of circles and rings going across the page.

This is a fabulous page! I seem to be attracted to the pages with a lot of circles! Love the colors too!
I love these colors too and circles are always my favorite. Great job making it into a 2 pager.
I love this layout. I have a couple of scallop edged circles that I have not used.I can't wait to see if they will work for a layout like this. Jackson does have a sweet smile. He is such a cute little guy!
