Add-on Sketch #11
You can download and print this sketch by clicking on the add-on sketches link found under the "printable sketches" tab on the right sidebar.

"Greatest Blessing" card by Megan Bickers
Supplies Used - Cardstock: DMD Inc (kraft), Bazzill (Brown, cream); Patterned Paper: My Minds Eye, Me and My Big Ideas, Die Cuts with a View, The Paper Loft; Stamps: Technique Tuesday (Loving Words), Jenni Bowlin (Labels), Stampers Anonymous (TH Curiosities); Inks: Tsukineko (Versamark), Ranger Distress Inkpads (Bundled Sage, Gathered Twigs, Rusty Hinge), Ranger Distress Stain (Antique Linen); Other: Autumn Leaves (Button), Cream Embroidery Thread; Tools: WeR Memory Keepers (Corner Chomper); Adhesives: Scrapbook Adhesives (Foam Squares)

Variation #1: I created two single strips of diagonal pattern papers, then put them together to create the chevron stripes. Then I traced a leaf shape on the backside of the paper and cut them out by hand. My leaf sizes vary from those on the add-on sketch.

Other details: I stamped the background of my card with versamark ink for a subtle pattern, and stamped a sentiment to match my pattern paper colors.

These look great!! I like the pp of the leaves for the card and the buttons are perfect for it.

The layout is fun with the leaves and the banner, looks great.

I love this one. I like that the leaves can look like trees! Hmm what else are you amazing ladies going to come up with?

Great sketch Allison. I was a bit stumped at first but then it all came together pretty quickly for me.

Megan-I love your card. The colours that you picked are awesome. Great job.

Lynette-what a great 2-page layout. There are so many details to look at. My favourite (besides the leaf) is how you stitched around the banner. Brilliant.

Both of these interpretations are fantastic! Megan, your card is beautiful; I love the warmth of the colors, the buttons and the overall composition. Lynette, your layout is just right for your photos. It's so clever how you used the add-on sketch to create your tree embellishments! And I love all the variety in your edging details.
