Card Sketch #17

You can download and print this sketch by clicking on the card sketches link found under the "printable sketches" tab on the right sidebar.

"Friends are the Sunshine of Life" card by Lynette Jacobs
Supply list - Cardstock: Worldwin; Printed papers: American Craft (City Park); Trims: American Crafts (City Park); Felt flower: American Crafts (City Park); Sentiment: Kaisercraft

Variation #1: I supplemented the two narrow strips with two different trims.

The rest of the card was done according to the sketch.

"Happy Birthday" card by Christine Chain
Suppliespatterned paper: My Mind’s Eye, Authentique; paper flowers: unknown, (in Green Tangerine’s January kit club); brads: Bo Bunny; fabric letters: American Crafts; ink: Tsukineko; other: embroidery floss

Variation #1 - The most obvious change I made was that I used half of an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of cardstock to make the card 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I kept all the other dimensions the same.

Variation #2 - I omitted the swirl and used larger letters for the sentiment. Which makes the title block more of a background than a block, but I like it like that :)

"My Hero" card by Shari Thurman
Supplies - Patterned Paper and Stickers: Echo Park(A Boy's Life); Cardstock: Georgia-Pacific; Ink: Colorbox Chalk Ink (Chestnut Roan); Adhesive: ATG by Scotch and EK Success (3D dots)

Variation #1: I used a polka dot pattern for the background.

Variation #2: I changed the shape of the sentiment.

Variation #3: I substituted the flourish for stars.
