Add-on Week, Part 4

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
We've got two adorable cards to share with you today from Christina Hoffman and Amy Roller. Amy created a cool spinner element on her card and if you thought the sketch could only be used for a mug, wait until you see Christina's spin on the sketch.

Add-on Sketch #1

You can download and print this sketch by clicking on the add-on sketches link found under the "printable sketches" tab on the right sidebar.

"Let's Go On A Picnic" card by Christina Hoffman
Supply List - Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned paper: We R Memory Keepers; Alphabet:
Kaisercraft; Embroidery floss: DMC; Glitter accent: Stickles, Ranger

Variation #1: As you can see, I turned the coffee mug into a picnic basket. I adjusted the size of the cup to the size basket I needed.

Variation #2: To get the look of a picnic basket I rounded the corners of one side and not the other.

"Thinking of You Warms my Heart" card by Amy Roller
Supplies: Cardstock: Stampin up; Pattern paper: My Minds Eye; Embellishments: My Minds Eye (circles) and Stampin Up (stamped bear and sentiment); Glitter accent: Stickles, Ranger; Other: craft thread and craft wire.

I decided to use both the add-on sketch and the January card sketch and make it a spinner card. I made the cup of cocoa embellishment with chipboard, paper, craft wire and craft thread. I then added a stitched heart to it. Next I attached a piece of thread between the layers to create the spinning action.

For the card base, I used cardstock and used the Creative Memories circle cutter to make the circles in the front of the card so that the stamped images show through from the inside of the card.

On the outside of the card, I used multiple sized circles and stitched elements.

Nice job ladies.

I love the picnic basket idea. It takes a creative mind to come up with that.

Amy, I think the way you 'floated' your little mug is brilliant. I must try that sometime.

Thanks for the inspiration girls.
