Add-on Sketch #3

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

You can download and print this sketch by clicking on the add-on sketches link found under the "printable sketches" tab on the right sidebar.

The cupcake add-on sketch for March doesn't require a sweet tooth and has zero calories. Who doesn't love that kind of cupcake! This sketch will work perfectly for themes like birthday, baking, or sweet snacking pictures.

The bottom of the cupcake, the "wrapper", is made from a rectangle with diagonal edges and then stitched lines. You can also fold the "wrapper" to look like a real cupcake liner. The top, the icing, is made from a combination of different sizes of circles. You can use the same patterned paper for each circle or even mix up the patterns.

If you don't have pictures or projects that will work with a cupcake try using the general shape of the cupcake as inspiration. This sketch would work great as a pot of flowers or a bucket of popcorn too.

Check back tomorrow for the start of add-on week. We've got several cute projects based on this sketch that you won't want to miss!

Love the idea of multiple circles making up the cupcake part!
