Add-on Week, Part 4

Add-on Sketch #7

You can download and print this sketch by clicking on the add-on sketches link found under the "printable sketches" tab on the right sidebar.

"39 + 2" by Suzanna Lee
Supplies - Cardstock: Bazzill, Coredinations; Patterned paper: JilliBean Soup, SEI; Journal Spot: JilliBean Soup; Punch: Martha Stewart; Bling: Hero Arts, Kaiser Crafts; Alpha Rub-ons: Scrapworks;
Other: DMC Floss

My initial thought for this was that my "flares" would be the flames on a candle. But with all the circles on the page, it evolved to the illusion of candle flames with the vertical line of the candle missing! A simple layout yet so effective with the movement created by the circles and "radiance"!

Here is a closer look at the details:

"Blow Out the Candles and Make a Wish" by Lynette Jacobs
Supplies used - Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned Paper: Reminisce At the Farm; Words: Basic Grey, American Crafts, Bella Boulevard and Making Memories Tiny Alphas; Gems: KaiserCraft; Other: gold pipe cleaners

I had already done my piercing to stitch the candles but then I came across the golden pipe cleaners in my drawer and they looked very much like the candles in the photo. I faux stitched my lines and added the bling to it. I used Two-page sketch # 16 and adapted it for a single page.

What "HAPPY HAPPY" birthday pages these are. Love them both for the color and the design of each.
Way to go ladies.

Hurray for 'faux' stitching. LOL! (That's more my speed!)

Love that MS Loopy Border Punch for birthday pages.

Great take on the add-on!

Suzanna--I love how you didn't add the vertical lines to your circles, Very neat look!

Lynnette--I love how you used the pipe cleaners and added the flame in the center.
