Add-on Sketch #10

••••••••••••••••••••

You can download and print this sketch by clicking on the add-on sketches link found under the "printable sketches" tab on the right sidebar.

One of my favorite ways to make my own embellishments is to take simple shapes and layer them to create an object, like the add-on sketch for this month. The balloons are made with three circles in different sizes layered with the largest on the bottom to the smallest on the top.

You can use three circles of the same patterned paper or mix it up and use three different patterns and colors. I always recommend using some sort of ink to define the edges of each piece and help the layers stand out. Foam adhesive always works well for helping the layers stand out too.

The concept of using the layered circles isn't limited to just balloons. Pumpkins, baseballs, basketballs, lollipops, and Christmas ornaments are all great ideas too.

We've got another great week of layouts so be sure to check back tomorrow for the start of Add-on Week.
