One-page Week, Part 2

One-page Sketch #16

You can download and print this sketch by clicking on the one-page sketches link found under the "printable sketches" tab on the right sidebar.

"Deck the Halls" by Carolyn Wolff
Supply List - Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned Paper: Bo Bunny; Digital Stamp (ornaments): Whimsie Doodles; Floss: We R Memory Keepers; Ink: Ranger Distress Ink; Chipboard Letters: Basic Grey; Stickers: Bo Bunny and Fancy Pants; Wire: Home Depot

Variation #1 – I stuck very close to the design of this sketch. Instead of using 2x2 photos as shown in the sketch, I used stickers and matted them with brown cardstock.

Variation #2 – To make my Christmas ornaments, I used a digital stamp and paper pieced the image. I added some curly wire to the top of them and stitched using glitter floss.

Variation #3 – I used the computer to do my journaling and then cut it into strips. I inked the edges to help the strips stand out against the background.

"Sweet Angel" by Christy Arthur
Supply list - Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned Paper: Crate Paper (Peppermint Ski Lodge and Snow Globe); Embellishments: Crate Paper (Peppermint Chipboard, Border Stickers, Phrase Stickers, Alpha Labels); Mist: Studio Calico (Mister Huey Dewey, Pickle, Schoolhouse); Ink: Jenni Bowlin (Seed Packet); Tags: Elle's Studio (Christmas Layers Note Tags and Tiny Tags); Border Punch: Ek Success, Creative Memories, Marvy Uchida

Variation #1: I used two smaller photos instead of the six photos shown in the sketch.

Variation #2: I moved the background patterned paper to the far right side instead of leaving a border as the sketch shows, since my paper is wider than the sketch shows.
