One-page Sketch #18

You can download and print this sketch by clicking on the one-page sketches link found under the "printable sketches" tab on the right sidebar.

"Just the 2 of Us" by Lynette Jacobs
Supply list - Cardstock: Bazzill; Printed Papers: Creative Imaginations (Devotions by IOD), Teresa Collins (Notations); Alphabet: American Craft (Doll), My little shoebox mini alphabet stickers; Die: Quickutz nesting hearts; Punch: Martha Stewart heart

Variation #1: I cut out the big heart and then stuck it to green bazzill. Other than that I stuck to the sketch.

"Bailey" by Christine Chain
Suppliespatterned paper: Bo Bunny, My Mind’s Eye, Bella Blvd; buttons: Basic Grey; corrugated letters: Jillibean Soup; word stickers: Authentique; ink: Tsukineko; other: embroidery floss

Variation #1: I used buttons instead of the smallest hearts. I wanted this layout to be about how much my kids love my parents' dog, but not overly "lovey" with tons of hearts. Bailey was a boy, after all.

Variation #2: I omitted the stitching and some of the hearts at the bottom. I ended up liking how it looked just like this (even though I had cut out other hearts and had more buttons). Once I added the word stickers it just felt done.

"9 Years" by Cherie Nymeyer
Supplies - Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Patterned Paper: Echo Park; Chipboard Letters: American Crafts; Pen: American Crafts; Die Cuts: Silhouette

Variation #1: I excluded the journaling block on the left hand side for journaling strips.

Variation #2: I replaced the top right photo with journaling strips.

Variation #3: I used less heart embellishments.

Lynette love the Bailey page. The buttons and inked edges on the hearts add great texture.
