“January” by Christine Chain
Supplies – patterned paper: Authentique, My Mind’s Eye (Lime Rickey); brads: Bo Bunny; paper flowers: unknown (in Green Tangerine’s January Kit); letter stickers: American Crafts (Thickers); ribbon: My Mind’s Eye (Lush); spray mist: Studio Calico (Mister Huey); other: embroidery floss, foam dots
Variation #1: I used ribbon for my scalloped strip (instead of paper).
Variation #2: I popped up the journaling strips so that they wouldn’t bump up over the velvet ribbon.
Variation #3: I misted my plain flowers with Mister Huey “Clay” to just tint them. Then I added some fun brads for the centers.

"Summer Garden" by Jennifer Larson
Supply List - Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Patterned paper: Studio Calico, My Mind's Eye, Little Yellow Bicycle, Crate Paper, Simple Stories; Letter stickers: My Mind's Eye, Authentique, Making Memories; Punch: EK Success; Stickers: October Afternoon, My Mind's Eye, Jenni Bowlin; Stamps: Studio Calico; Ink: Stampin' Up!; Floss: DMC; Flower: Prima; Button: Stampin' Up!; Pen: Zig; Misc: brads, thread
Variation #1: I kept the measurements of photos and paper the same. Easy peasy!
Variation #2: I did mix the patterned paper in a different order than it was on the sketch, not on purpose; once I realized the mistake, I just went with it.
Variation #3: The title worked better a little lower with my photos; for a similar reason, I moved the journaling to the right.

“U.P. Cuisine Reigns Supreme” by Sue Althouse
Supplies - Cardstock: American Crafts, Bazill; Patterned Paper: Echo Park (Country Drive, Happy Days); Alphabets: Echo Park (Happy Days), unknown (large blue letters), American Crafts (Thickers); Stickers, Journaling Tag, Embellishments: Echo Park (Happy Days); Tab Punches: McGill, Fiskars; Other: black chalk ink, black thread
With apologies to the Iron Chef, I created this page about the places we ate and the kinds of food we sampled on our trip to Michigan's Upper Peninsula last summer.
Variation #1 - Mounted my photo collage on white cardstock, added word stickers, mounted with raised adhesive.
Variation #2 - Inked the edges and sewed around my patterned paper background.
Variation #3 - Moved my journaling to the right page and used a larger journaling block.
Variation #4 - Omitted the flower embellishments.
