"January Walk" by Jennifer Larson
Supplies - Patterned paper: Lilybee Designs, October Afternoon, Pink Paislee, My Mind's Eye; Alphabet stickers: October Afternoon; Chipboard Letters: American Crafts; Chipboard snowflakes: Maya Road; Woodgrain stamp: Studio Calico; Ink, Paint: Jenni Bowlin (grey, cream and yellow paint), Stazon (stamping ink on snowflakes); Embroidery floss: DMC; Label Stickers: Studio Calico; Journal Pen: Zig, American Crafts; Stitching template: Bazzill; Border Punch: Fiskars; Gems: Bazzill; Corner Rounder: EK Success
Variation #1 – For the most part, I kept the sketch the same, even printing photos in the exact sizes.
Variation #2 – I changed some embellishments to snowflakes since it was a winter page (even though we had no snow this winter, LOL!). I also added more.
Variation #3 – I liked the text paper background, since it reflected some of the theme for the page, an open road. As a result, I kept the journaling to a minimum and put it on the labels by the embellishments instead of covering the text paper.
Variation #4 – I liked the really dark grey wood paper on the right, so I added some to the left too. I also punched the right paper with a border punch.
