Two-page Sketch #18

You can download and print this sketch by clicking on the two-page sketches link found under the "printable sketches" tab on the right sidebar.

"Oh So Little" by Christy Arthur
Products - Bazzill: Cardstock; Studio Calico: Piglet and Orchard Mister Huey, Documentary Fabrip, Die Cut Stickers; Crate Paper: Emmas Shoppe Playhouse, School Spirit Homeroom, Portrait Border
Stickers; My Minds Eye: Lime Twist Fly a Kite Spring Zag and Happy Go Lucky Hello Zig, Stella and Rose Mabel Love and Hazel Lovely Label Stickers; October Afternoon: Thrift Shop Label Stickers; EK Success: Large Circles Border Punch

I used the left side of the two page sketch for my layout.

I used the layered waves from the bottom of the sketch and turned it into the layered paper and border stickers at the bottom of my layout.

I flipped the "sun" from the sketch and turned it into my journal element.

I added some patterned paper and a die cut behind the photos.

I misted the white border sticker at the top of the blue paper to turn it into a pinkish orange to match my layout.

I added a strip of paper and a title sticker to the top of the layout and ruffled another strip of paper above the photos.

"Busted" by Amy Roller
Supplies - Patterned paper: Creative Imaginations; Cardstock: Close to my Heart; Stickers: Creative Imaginations, Bella Blvd; Flocking: Enchanted Creations

On this layout, I used the left side of the two-page sketch. I flipped the pictures to have the three on top and one on the bottom to leave room for the bottle of baby powder and mess. I sort of kept the swirl element from the right side of the sketch as well and incorporated it into the bottom left corner.

To make the spill of powder, I used my finger to dab glue all over and then applied flocking over the top. Then I added in little embellishments across the page. Some are stickers, some are hand cut from the pattern paper.

This was a real quick layout and I love these pictures even though I wasn't very fond of the mess!

"Cat-a-tude" by Suzanna Lee
Supplies - Patterned Paper: Pink Paislee, Prima, We R Memory Keepers; Flowers and Doilie: Prima; Stickers: My Minds Eye, Studio Calico, Recollections; Letter Stickers: American Crafts, Making Memories; Chipboard: Bella Blvd; Twine and Stamp: We R Memory Keepers; Button and Tag: Kaiser Crafts

I used the right hand side of the sketch and made a single page layout. I am not crazy about my pictures being right at the edge of the layout so I shifted then in, creating a visual frame around the page. I kept the big embellishment elements to the right of the picture with the flowers. My journaling is still within the journal spot per the sketch, it's a circle instead of rectangular.

I placed the title here as well. To create balance and complete the visual triangle, I put a scattering of elements at the top right.
